8am Holy Communion (no hymns or singing)
A traditional Communion Service, using Church of England Common Worship.
10am Parish Eucharist (with well-known hymns and singing)
(usually first, third, fourth - and fifth if there is one - Sundays):
Our main Sunday Service with hymns and a sermon. This is traditional village church Sunday worship at its best, lasting about 60 minutes and usually followed by tea, coffee and biscuits. We try very hard to offer a warm welcome.
Second Sundays of the month (normally)
Second Sunday Specials
...are half way between a traditional church service and a school assembly! They last about 40 minutes and there is no Communion part. Instead of a sermon there is a more informal talk, usually using slides projected on a screen. We often use Second Sunday Specials to celebrate or learn about things that are going on in our community, or as an opportunity to involve children from Blean School as singers. These services are a good way to 'dip your toe into the water' if it is a while since you and your family have been to church on a Sunday and want to get a sense of what our church community is like.
